My name is sapient (he/him), and I'm 90% metalhead.

I'm guitarist/bassist/vocalist/drum arranger in a blackened death metal band called Abomnium and one half of a space rock band called Bridge11 with @gordon.

This year I'm thinking I might actually try to write an album instead of a bunch of random songs. Might be a bit ambitious, but as it's my 19th FAWM, maybe its about time.

Hi sapient I have a ethnic flavoured blackened punk track where I really want some growling death metal esque vocals, tried messing with some stupid splice samples cause that is way beyond my skillset, but then I remembered that you can actually growl Would you be interested? Oo, that sounds fascinating... I'm on a bit of a self-imposed exile until early to mid next week as I'm wanting to crank out a full album of horrific metal before taking anything else on. But if you are ok to wait a few days then I am absolutely up for it!

Dude! So good to see you here and already three in the books. I can definitely see you getting an album done. Hope we can get an official collab in this year (in addition to Glorious Disaster, if you're still up for that). :)

I would LOVE to to a collab with you this FAWM! I'm aiming to be done with my (slightly mad) album challenge by early to mid next week, and then plan to go all-in with whatever FAWM throws at me. But if you have ideas burning a hole in your brain and want to chat before then, just holler!

Honestly right now much of it is self-inflicted. I want to try and be done with this project within the first 7-10 days so I can spend the rest of the month doing collabs and games and the usual silly shit that I love about FAWM 🤣

Heheh, I get it. I've done a whole album twice during FAWM (though the other one was way shorter), and though I love the planning and coming up with themes, it's a HUGE amount of work. All the best for the endeavour! Maybe we'll have time to collab again when you're done?
