FAWM provides "official" weekly songwriting prompts all month long to help you get inspired! We also post these to social media ( Instagram YouTube Bluesky Mastodon ). Fawmers are of course encouraged to post their own community challenges in the forums!

It's July 4th... time to write in 7/4 time! 🎵
Challenge: Write a song in this unusual meter (in whole or in part). Never tried it before? This is your chance to push your limits!
Examples: “Tattooed Love Boys” (Pretenders), “Solsbury Hill” (Peter Gabriel), “Money” (Pink Floyd), “Tom Sawyer” (Rush), “Estimated Prophet” (Grateful Dead).
