So here we go again! My aim this year is to do something slightly if not wildly different and I want to use more electronic elements rather than acoustic and so we have arrival

Glitchy sliced up drum loops with much randomness applied and then resampled into something I liked. A few instances of a Kontakt choir and a few instances of Absynth, lots of reverb and delay obviously.

So I believe I've set the tone but let's see

Love this! The way it weaves and whirls… I’m not too good at describing but I feel it!

Unexpected! Lots of glitchy breaks happening around the one minute mark but they're deliberate. Opening definitely foreshadows something tho...

Are you using the resurrected Absynth 6 or an earlier version? Was a great day when I heard it came back from the NI graveyard but haven't checked it out yet.

Hello! And yup, they really are - random when I wanted, ordered when I didn't.

The new Absynth 6 which, IDK, doesn't quite feel the same but it's mighty powerful and I haven't got beyond tweaking presets yet

The intro string sound calls to mind the Dark Night soundtrack, very textural. Hits those IDM markers for sure.

This is really good. I wasn't expecting the chaotic drum loops but it worked really well and was still quite chill despite the layer of chaos. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you!

Liked this a lot. The glitch drum loops are terrific! Especially like the extra static sounds layered on top of the choir and strings. Very cool!

I rather like the change from the very ordered to the more chaotic! Its got a really nice feel to the whole thing , i particularly like those synthy strings!

i think the drum randomization is a bit chaotic, maybe some eighth note quantization to the randomness would help? the timbre of the loops are super good though, as are all of the other instruments! the intro is really nice too, especially with those strings, it sets the scene well

overall pretty cool, nice way to start this year's FAWM!
