First song of the month! Written in about half an hour.

It's about not wanting to die yet, not because you're scared of death, but just because you want to keep on loving somebody while you're both alive.

This is charmingly romantic, the simple chords and accompaniment give this a mid-century-yet-timeless vibe. The way you hang on to "loooooong" is perfect. Just lovely.

i love the way you hold the note when you sing "long" in the chorus. the whole song has that longing feeling and i feel the longing especially when you stretch out the word "long." ..the first two lines of the verse evoke a laura nyro vibe in your vocal dynamics. there is so much soulfulness in your voice and lyrics.

i was watching MST3k and they had a bit about Mute horn players only getting work in the 60s/70s in sexy movie scenes...just made me think about that.

you've got some really great runs in here! the words are very well written and the guitar is very pretty. 10 outta 10, would recommend!
