This is more a fragment of a poem. It gos out to all those people in the Ukraine who suffer from an ice cold winter without heating, electricity and without hope for a a fast ending of this fucking war!

Freedom cannot freeze! We live in ice as frozen hopes carry our fear. But freedom cannot freeze!

Freedom cannot freeze is a powerful, emotive hook that brings so much imagery in such few words. I like how you don’t shy from the reality but keep a focus on hope - The ‘tomorrow waits like an open window’ hits hard

Wow! This is a powerful reflection on the realties facing Ukrainian soldiers! I hope they end the war sooner rather than later. It just stinks.
Hi Matt! It‘s not only for the soldiers but about all those people: children, old people, Mothers, etc. sitzing in the cold and dark flats and houses hopeing not to get bombed!

power driven rock EVH style ish I hear with keys and power chord distortion guitars, male vocal with drive. Would add on the second line this ... "We live in ice right here" scans better for the 4 lines.

Well, I sure hope this finds some music, as it is succinct and powerful. Could also apply to the situation in Minneapolis here in the US. I was compelled to pick up my guitar and work up a simple guitar/vocal folk protest version of your words - I'll record it if that interests you.
