Lyrics
Earlier it looked so promising, but that didn’t last for long I was about to go out walking, taking a break from the songs Then I saw the first umbrella, underneath my window I saw a mystery man from my novella In a large brimmed hat which hid his eyes Something I imagine spies would wear in days of old But he was talking softly into his phone Eyes darting to and fro, he was aware of his surroundings No need to look where he was going He had it mapped out on his phone And overhead on the horizon A smudge resembling a drone
The sirens weren’t long in coming Just after I heard footsteps running A floating corpse in the canal No sign of the man with the large umbrella He walked on by and kept on going It could be something, could be nothing I don’t believe in coincidences They say things happen for a reason There are no innocent acts of treason Consequences follow actions Reflections are prone to refraction Imagine witnessing a chain reaction, chain reaction

I can imagine myself sitting in a pub with eyes closed, getting pictures in my head from your lyrics-while enjoying the gorgeous picking and smooth vocals. Lovely.
