Hi, I love your idea of taking the bell in it's many guises. I've just come from the Bottoms Up skirmish and actually thought this was that skirmish as I hadn't seen the other one. The reason being that in British pubs, a bell is rung for last orders before closing, so I thought this was clever and maybe another angle. Also being in Scotland midnight at New Year ( Hogmanay) is called the Bells. Would be interested to see how this develops :-)

Interesting structure! Bell, then drum — I was expecting a third musical element, but it was snow. This is not a complaint!

So many ways to interpret this. Very creative written. And from one Swede who LOVES snow "There are no such thing as bad weather only bad dressing" (We all hated that saying when we were kids though)

I feel this! I like how you took the "bell" through many different meanings in each verse, and tied it up with Just another day with another surprise. Well done - Good write!

This has that feeling of something immediately at stake that works so well in a live rock setting. I love the way there are a lot of things up in the air. Also, welcome back!

Ooh I'm really intrigued by the structure here, I look forward to the recording when you have it! The lyrics are great, I love when a song is about one thing on the surface but very clearly digging at something deeper.
