"Takin' Monday off" I like it!!!
Personally, I would've taken the tempo up a bit, given it a bit more of a rock drive. And changed the guitar strum pattern between chorus and verse, make that change more clear. But a good write!!!

The tone and delivery of the song fits the lyrics so well. Very fitting direction to go with that title. Love the last three lines of the chorus.
