Lyrics
Being There
Vs 1 Are you worried 'bout how much it cost Feelin' hurried You don't like your boss All flurried 'bout how you come across The big thing getting lost Is being there.
Vs 2 Are you flustered Like time's running out Thinking blustered Everything (It's all) in doubt Add some mustard And just pitch it out Now you're being there
Ch Being there You're a part of the plan Seeing where Now you understand Freeing you up You've got it in hand You're being there
Are you humbled 'cause it all looks so big You might stumble Be late for the gig Don't crumble Knock the rust off your rig Keep being there.
[CH]
Ch. Being there Keep making your plan Seeing where Is your place to stand Get freed up And clap your hands For being there.

Great performed and love the sparse guitar. You really have a powerfull voice here. Keep beeing here friend.
I love the attitude here, and that guitar playing is cool in how percussive and raw it is. "Keep being there" has such a positive undertone to it, I feel this message after I almost gave up on "being here" a few years ago. Thanks for sharing! Keep being here. :)
Brilliant take on the prompt. Instantly likable. Love the vibes, the melodious feel and the dynamic feel of the energy. Fantastic singing and playing.
The late-50s - early-60s vibe is cool. Nice hook on "being there." I like the sentiment of just showing up and being there - I agree but sometimes it's hard to do.
I share your admiration for "Being There". I like your song very much - great playing and strong vocals.
A mellow sound and lyrics that spark the imagination. Well done.
Wow! Great job! That's a kewl structure: AXAXAXRefrain. It works.
Great write!
Cool sound. Gives me "Pretty Woman" vibes. Camera pans across the crowds and skyscrapers of the big city. Our protagonist stumbles about in wonder. Feeling small and lost and humbled, but giddy and excited, not realizing they're the focus of us, the viewers', attention.
cant go wrong with a guitar and a man with soul. good stuff
Wow, you're hitting that old Guild pretty wildly! Nice challenge work!
