02: Leap Frog

As mentioned in my bio, I am travelling for most of February so I started FAWM last week. So far I have created videos and will be uploading them before I leave on my trip.

Leap Frog is a live improvisation using Musyc 2 which is an updated version of an older physics based music app. Very fun, deep, and now is AUv3 and has midi out. https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/musyc2/id6752490398

Note on the cartoon. Tales of The Wizard of Oz is a trippy cartoon from 1961 that aired during lunch time on local television when I was a kid. The themes and stereotypes are consistent with the early 1960’s and certainly not reflective of my world view. See my bio for additional links to Tales of The Wizard of Oz on archive.org. I love the chilled out vibe o this. And at the same time it leaves you on the edge of your seat waiting for what might happen next. There are just a plethora of unique sounds, rhythms, and textures happening throughout. So damn cool!
