I got some cool sounds out of my Digitech EX-7 with HX One on my guitar on this one. Sounds like a weird synth sound.

Lyrics
if you go up well you know you’ll come down now, aren’t you glad your tethered to the ground but
you got back by the skin of your teeth cuz you pulled out of a bad gravity do
take a step back and look at you now in my heart you’re safe and sound
you know how to carry your weight there’s no rule written that you’ve sealed your fate now
too late.. its never too... late
i’ll meet you there any where

Thanks for the feedback! Level balancing is so challenging. In my phones it sounds one way, on my monitors another way.. I think it's good then take it to the car and oof.. sounds different again. I will take "brilliantly weird and annoying" any day lol
Love the constant deliberate strumming. And the synth swirling around. Sounds a little creepy but also a little happy. Really cool.
Yeah, it’s a bit repetitive so I was trying to evolve it through a slow build of sound and trying to get it to breathe a bit with the occasional break. I think the creepy vibe is from the build up. It’s about “The struggle is real” but I’ll be there and meet you where you’re at through it all, and we’ll make it to the other side kinda thing. Not sure if its about someone else or a previous version of me or what but, my subconscious seems to communicate with me through music in this way. Sometimes I’m like, what the hell am I talking about? Lol
this is a finger tapper. liking the bouncing around with the picking, and the vocals are the right level of off kilter and sounding great
Thanks, I am definitely off kilter alot ;)
Love 90's alternative and this fits the bill! Wonderful transitions + guitar parts. The synths are great too! The ending really pops out at you! Excellent!!!
You got some dreamy, synth feeling sounds in there for sure. This has a great 90s alternative feel to it that speaks to my soul. There is so much going on that it's hard for me to point out what I love but it is never too much. Really nice work!
Yeah, I am a product of 90's alternative for sure. I tend to sometimes push things into cacophony land.
Damn dude. This has such a cool feel. Chugs along in a dream state and the parts just flow along magically, whirling and turning. Super cool. Nice work. The acoustic with synths and overall vibe give remind me a bit of grandaddy
Much like me.. chugging along in a dream state. Thanks for the kind words.. I do like Grandaddy.
You did get some cool sounds -- oh i like bad gravity i think i have had some of that! Nicely done
Gravitational pull is hard to resist.
Just some quick feedback: I've been listening to Cardiacs and this chord progression feels like home! Not biggest fan of the synth sound or maybe it just being it a tad too loud. Brilliantly weird and annoying - in the best possible way! There is some Blur, Gorillaz, Tom Yorke territory that you ended up going to. And in the end I didn't really mind the synth guitar sound.
