The Chicago Way

Liner Notes
I was just in the mood for some high speed surf punk. I'm 90%+ sure I'm stealing the main riff from Man or Astroman? or Los Straitjackets or Laika & The Cosmonauts or whoever else is making stuff like this. It's just a 16th note open string D minor thing, it's fun.
Mostly improv, with two themes as the base of operations. Fun noodling.
Oh, and the sample is from De Palma's The Untouchables, amazing script by David Mamet. Sean Connery's only Oscar, and he has soooo many great quotes from that flick.
Lyrics
He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way.

Great flick…I learned recently de Palma named his daughter Lolita…very strange man who didn’t stand for profanity but loved the down and dirty
This is dope. Stealing is what all the greats do. Very cool!
Whoa!!! I better not be driving when this comes on or I'll be speed racer! Awesome riffs Binky,!
Diddledididdledididdle... awesome! A tuba for bass would be the icing on this gem
Oh my god yes! This is awesome. This is chewing up the scenery. Love it <3
Superb! I loved it all the way through. The Connery either end just made me smile, especially when it went into that opener. That main riff reminds me of Toccata and Fugue in D minor, but its own thang. And I like the bluesy break too, added nice variety - a bit Chuck Berry-esque I guess? But in any case, it's a beast of a song (complimentary) and I love it!
