This FAWM I'm 100% just letting myself write silly songs, often from the perspective of animals, because my dog and cats tend to bring me the greatest joy, and I'm rolling with whatever inspiration comes to mind right now <3

Verse 2: The Bloodhounds and the Beagles sniffed to find the way to a land called Punxsutawney in the state of PA Howlin' and a bayin' when they caught his scent And then in a flash off the Greyhounds went The Salukis and the Borzoi, even Whippets flew down the path to the stump of the woodchuck's crew Next the terriers threw dirt left and right 'Til dachshunds flushed that groundhog out into plain sight

Verse 3: Well the varmint jumped into a creek to try and not get caught But the Labradors and Poodles followed without a second thought And when he tried to keep on running from the opposite shore Royal Pekinese and Shih-tzu threw him off with barks galore So it was that Phil was cornered and he knew he couldn't run And desperate made a promise, "Next year I'll see the sun!" Well the herding dogs decided he had learned his lesson true But they let him know if he spoke false exactly what they'd do...
