If my numbers don’t come up this week I swear I’ll do something rash I’m at that point in my life Where I could really do with the cash I’ve been playing the game For what seems like forever It’s become a real downer for me, I swear it used to be fun but now the game’s No longer a pleasure Playing the numbers

The payments are due real soon I’m just asking for once in a blue moon They say that it could be me, But now I’m starting to see Most likely be somebody else, I’ll be glued to the box on Saturday night Hoping that everything will be alright I know it’s not right, but it’s all that I’ve got I just need three numbers more Starting to feel hot, under the pressure Clutching my ticket to my chest My head is filled with regrets I hit the floor as the last number is called They’ll find me on Monday Winning ticket clutched in my hand Playing the numbers Playing the numbers
