A very intriguing song. I'm not sure what the narrator is meant to have done, but I don't entirely believe his protestations.

Thank you so much for this song - it is really wonderful! I love light songs that seem to have much larger implications that you can't always put your finger on. It might just be the style, but it's really making me think of Richard Thompson as well.
