If I Wake Up Tomorrow
Liner Notes
I haven't used Garageband in a good ten years. And for how much work it took to figure out what I was doing, it still feels like cheating. Smart guitar? Drum loops? My brain says if I don't do it all myself, it doesn't count. My brain says a lot of things, really. That's why my lyrics are always so dang cheerful. /end rant
Lyrics
If I wake up tomorrow What's the use in being here? I'm drowning in my sorrow Without you next to me I'm made of disappointment Shedding tears into rain And nothing that I've wanted Will ever come here again
And if I never fall (if I forever fall) How can I ever rise again? But if you never call (if you forever fall) How can I ever live again?
If I wake up tomorrow Would it change anything? I'm lost on how to follow What is left of my dreams And all I want you to know Is how hard that I've tried Cause you'll always be the one That I keep safe inside of me

Garageband isn't cheating :) the whole point of that thing was to make music more accessible to everybody and you've used it wonderfully.
This is beautiful, I really enjoy it, thank you for making it :)
I really feel with you about "it not counting" if you don't do it all yourself. I regularly try to divorce myself from that notion when making music, because I find it always stifles creativity and motivation. I like the cheerful ;) lyrics and dreamy tone of this tune!
Most of my FAWM music wouldn't be possible without Garageband, it still takes lots of work & creativity. I love how this turned out. Bittersweet song. I always appreciate vulnerability in songwriting. nice work!
