The terse and rhythmic phrasing creates its own kind of hook. I could see this in a couple of different forms--I love 80s and 90's music, though so somewhere between Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Right Said Fred, and Aqua is what I imagined. I can also see this in a very pop-punk style.
I dig it when lyrics carry a rhythm and a music of their own like this.
