For the past several years now I’ve ended up kicking off FAWM with a song about how I’m feeling now. A couple years ago, after coming out, that was a cheerful positive song titled “It’s me, hello” with handclaps and bubbly synths. This one is “I’m not going away and I’m done being demure about it”, and it’s quite a bit louder.

YES to everything about this! I grew up on pop-punk so I love the nostalgia factor. I love the resilience, the humor, the self-love in the lyrics. I'll have this one on repeat.

Oh, fun! This really does rock. "The box won't close now" is a great line because I know exactly what it means without it explaining itself (and this song is all about BEING, not explaining).

I like in these lyrics that you can swap out “E” for “T” and it works exactly the same! Can’t wait to check out your new songs!! HRT the GOAT ✊

I wish I could relive my high school years and listen to albums of your music on repeat lol. This has such an awesome pop punk 2000s sound. And it starts right off the word fuck which is my kryptonite lyric. Never met a song that was not enhanced by saying fuck. Solid start really love this liberated vibe. 🎉 It's also just really catchy!

Haha thank you so much!! I debated it for a little bit, but honestly starting off FAWM with “fuck” as the very first word just seemed like the right vibe 😂 I was also 1000% going for 2000s pop punk so I’m so pleased that came across! 🖤
