Well, here we go.... I had been working on another song that will apparently be coming out later than this one. I was trying to get the guitar sound for the other song, but then this one came out....hence, intrusion. So, I LOVE to play loud and I never know when that will happen. I typically play an acoustic that I have in the main living area, but an acoustic is very different from a distorted electric to me. In fact, the only similarity is the strings. I have some ideas for changes in the structure, but that isn't really all that important right now. The idea of the song is created and I can go back to change it or not. So, I played a Firefly 335 and a Gibson SG, both through a Vox AC15, but with different speakers. The bass is direct. The drums are, well, drums. I hope that you like it. It is nice to get my first one up!

What an absolute banger, I love the guitar tones here all the way through, this sounds like a real (good) band, not just one guy. And yeah you're right that electric and acoustic guitar are totally different instruments

Bags and bags of energy. It has a great 90’s indie sound that I dig. Early Dinosaur Jd maybe? Great guitar sound and especially love the bends in the hook. Great track!

Your song is the first this I heard this morning, other than my dog's morning soft singing, and it gave me a huge burst of energy! Those panned guitars and your racing bassline and punching drums set a great scene. The almost unraveling ending was sweet. Great start! (I will write you on your board)

Great beat and I am loving the energy! I really like how each instrument is in its own lane so to speak - I can hear everything so distinctly but yet at the same time they blend together with such a full, cool sound. I think my favorite part is the ending. You play so many instruments so well Rob. Way to start FAWM with this banger 🎸

Nice one. Everything sounds great. Nice groove going. Guitars sound good. There's a vocal choir effect which I think is just coming from the distorted guitars.

I never get my songs in order, they barge each other out of the way often. I third comments on new wave - i would call it intelligent new wave although there are hints of Muse in here!! if you aint tapping you must have dozed off. Lovely tight full sound!

To piggyback off of Bill's comment, if you've listened to any 3rd Secret, I could see their vocalists ripping something awesome over-top this. To be clear, though, the melody and texture as-is give it drive and make it a satisfying listen. There is just the slightest hint of surf from the drums... a bit of a brotherly nod? 😄 I think my favorite part is the pitch bend when the lead guitar melody dips down just a little on the fourth part of each phrase.

Super tension build at the start, because YOU KNOW it is coming to punch you in the face eventually. Nice and sharp and crunchy and think, but in a way tight way. I bet it was fun to realize this one was happening. That frantic ending section is killer. Fun to listen to for sure!
