This is my take on those folks who say "both sides are the same" in politics, or really anything. It's lazy thinking, and tends to lead to where we are right now. I'm hoping to do a studio recording of this one next week with some harmonies and bass added, but this is a rough draft.

The divide between the major political parties never seemed so bad. Then again, maybe we just didn't know. All I know is that I could've written 30 more verses to this because the more I learn the more I realize how much every Republican in my lifetime (since Reagan) has ruined the country. Maybe I'll move in with you. What's the weather like there? haha

Well said. From a Dutch perspective tho, it is hard to comprehend how deep the divide is in America. The conflict is destroying everything. A middle ground no longer seems possible, while you’ve got everything you need. Like Rancid said, Division is the new world order.
