This is Fine

Liner Notes
I wanted to sit down and write a pretty acoustic guitar song.
But of course, it devolves into me screaming.
I got really interested in the idea of building up the harmonies over time to fit with the theme of the song. I think it worked?
Lyrics
Bit by bit they eat away The little things, the bitter stings
Drop by drop we fill the boat Down she goes,
The little things,
One by one, they’ll fade away The little things, meaningful things
I’ve got a feeling I can’t defend On the tip of my tongue
Da da da dadada dadada The little things Da da da dadada dadada The little things
Just another paper cut, a tiny little bite Everythings okay and everythings all right ,
This is fine This is FIIIIIIIIIIIINE FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE
One more tiny thing won’t hurt
One more tiny thing won't hurt (one more tiny thing)
One more tiny thing won’t hurt (one more tiny thing)(one more tiny thing)

One more tiny thing won’t hurt (one more tiny thing)(one more tiny thing)(one more tiny thing)(one more tiny thing)

Great tune, great lyrics. You're right, it builds really nicely and the tension between the auditory chaos and the seeming harmlessness of the lyric clicks in a satisfying way. Great work!
🙌
A Great John Lennon vibe to my ears. The vocals and harmonies are really tasteful and at the same time complex. I really like this one!!!!!
Thank you!!!
Hey man, I think you did write a pretty acoustic guitar song! Even with the screaming! Loved the round at the end (was that a round? Idk what the circle of fifths is) and really loved how it resolved right at the end. Nice dude.
