Lemonade

Skirmish: Bottoms up (@longbat)Liner Notes
Hey, this is my first skirmish! Can't believe I actually completed it within the hour. OK I wrote the song but didn't record the demo within the hour, but I think that still counts. Not much else to say except, I could use some warmer weather and a lemonade. I'll post the demo in a bit.
Lyrics
verse: If there's a refresher I can see none better A glass filled with Ice There's nothing so nice as a lemonade Sweet, tart lemonade
When the temperature's hot It sure hits the spot Order it twice 'cause once won't suffice yeah my lemonade Sweet, tart lemonade
For relief from the heat You know I will reach for my lemonade
bridge: You can add some flavor It plays well together with a berry (strawberry, blueberry, mulberry...) But keep it simple when the skies are sunny Alright maybe add a drop of honey (repeat verse)

Thank you. I appreciate the listen and the comment.
Not really lemonade weather here either but it gives us something to which we may look forward. Good lyric. Let us know when the demo happens.
Thank you, and I was think the same thing as I contemplated the piles of snow outside my window. Thanks for the comment.
This is truly a love letter to lemonade. Now I want some. This song is a lot of fun.
Thank you. I was thinking "radio jingle" when I was writing it. I guess I need to find lemonade company. lol
I was literally thinking, this should be a jingle, in my head when I was reading it. Spot on!
Fun use of triplets, and the backing berry line is great
