The main melody doesn't kick in until about the 30 second mark!
This track is a built around a recording I took of my zebra finches meeping, and you can download it below if you'd like! Other elements are electronic drum samples and free patches for Vital wavetable synth and Triple Cheese by u-he (also free)! This started as a 2x4 song (four percussion sounds and two melodic sounds allowed) but it grew a little past that by a couple tracks.
The zebra finches are named Sally Field, Burt Reynolds, and Lady Grey. I love their cheerful little sounds!

I love this idea of building around the percussive sound of your own birds, and the contrast of the gentle flying melody on top of their chirps. This is very fun to listen to.

Thank you!!! I like the melody lines and the finches really do chirp exactly like that whenever they hear something fun on the tv or birds at the feeder. I've been wanting to incorporate them into something for a while <3
