Lyrics

Forgiven

Well I'm sad And I'm sorry But you tell me Not to worry I was so bad In my days of glory 'Til I had To tell my story.

Ch Can I be forgiven I'm tryin' to set things right Make it part of livin' Somebody come and turn on the light

If you can believe it I've learned a lesson or two If you could just receive it I'll send my heartfelt message to you So we can walk together Try to understand My guilt is like a tether My freedom is in your hands

[Ch] Won't you please turn on the light

Easy to like song. Like the bluesy vibe and the vide range of your voice. Very likeable lyrics

You definitely captured that feeling of wanting to show the person you've hurt that you've changed, and you're not the same person you were before. I hope you know your freedom is in your own hands and you can forgive yourself. Your life from this moment forward is the proof you have changed.

FUNKY! I love "Somebody come and turn on the light." Such a bluesy plea. Feels like the offender is begging current you to release them from the guilt

The vague lyrics make this relatable to a large audience. Love the rock feel. Cool tune.
