What year is it?

There's much to fill Nine in on after just waking up after all this time. While it was kind of Nine to make a list, there's really only so ways to answer the same kinds of questions.

I wanted to do a skirmish for this album, at least once. I did a few last year that were a lot of fun but I had no idea if the prompts would ever be suitable for this particular album concept. And then this one came along and gave me instant inspiration. Though Juice and Ten are already far in the loop, Nine just got here. Sure is a shock to know that thousands of years went by without you really knowing.

I love Helm, everyone should use Helm. I will continue to compose with Helm.

Most of my songs for this album have been composed in short amounts of time but this is oddly the one I feel like the most work has gone into? Despite it also being done in an hour's time. I think there will be plenty of time for me to slow down and cook in the studio awhile this month, but it was great to be able to participate in at least one skirmish this FAWM.
