I love this.. its very relatable. Your voice goes so well with the guitar and harmonica! I'm enjoying how the upbeat music pairs with the lyric. Well done!

You got something here. Accessible structure, relatable and human story, told with just enough detail. I think you might be able to emphasize/lean in to the little bit / vis-it internal rhyme to punch up that chorus (maybe by adding a bonus syllable in visit -- vih is it?) . I think this one could be a crowd pleasing singalong.

@philnorman That's a good idea. I woke up with the chorus in my head and scribbled out the verses in no time -- it all happened pretty fast. It could be a fun one to flesh out down the line.

@klyma yeah, "gimme a chaaaance" is still in my head 20 minutes later. That's a good sign. Catchy wins. And, in my experience, the ones that come quickly are often ones that stick around.
