#skirmish #singersongwriter #improvisation #omnichord AI took most of the graphic design jobs--in two years I went from financially okay-off to teetering on the edge of ruin. I just moved out of my big apartment into a tiny house with a good amount of roommates and I'm sitting on my bed surrounded by boxes and feeling lots of things.

This so lovely, raw and vulnerable – and really impressive that it's improvised. Love your vocals and the omnichord! I hope things start to look up and FAWM continues to provide some relief <3

I'm glad FAWM can provide at least a little time of comfort. You told your story well and with a bit of hope for better. I'm old enough to have gotten out of the mainstream workforce before AI came along. I only need to be concerned about its effect on music. I hope you can move on and find something really good.

This was IMPROVISED?! I'm dead. Wow. This is so beautiful and so sad. So many great lyrics in here. I'm so sorry that AI has done that to you. AI sucks. I'm super glad you're here this year. I've missed your voice. These lyrics feel so raw but gentle at the same time and I can't really pick favorites because there are too many. I'm so glad you joined this skirmish! Also super excited that you know who the hell Ilya and Shane are because currently that's most of what I've been writing. 😅😅😅

This is really a sad song, but at the same time very relatable to many I think. The fragility of the vocals really suits the subject matter. Good take on the prompt

Oh, man, that is so rough, and yet many of us have lived that throughout life, because as your lyric so well says, things change. It reminds me of a song I started once when I was in the same "boat"-- I wonder what I did with that? In my case, I went back to school, got a Masters degree and a new career, which was fulfilling. Best wishes for a great new catch. Your lyric is stunning.
