OK this feels so weird. I normally write all my songs for the year in FEB. In Northern Michigan where its full of snow... So, I thought I'd write a heat inspired tune... I actually hate summer, sorry.
Lyrics
Wing Maintenance
We’re melting. So can you help me? Think of something cool to counteract the thermostat. Let’s break this down. We’ll turn around. Let’s stop and ask directions. I feel we’re at an intersection.
Life can sting. We’ll find broad leaf plantain. These days have scorched my brain.
What’s quantum? I hardly know ‘em. Take apart remote controls to see if we can make it snow. Why bother? Go any farther? We’ve reached the precipice and I insist Our wings need maintenance.
Life can sting. We’ll find broad leaf plantain. These days have scorched my brain.

With you on hating the summer! Loving the harmonica on this. Also the “quantum, hardly know ‘em” line is really fun!
Really like this and your music I checked out on youtube (love using a computer keyboard for washboard). Here esp. love "these days scorched my brain". Also "we've reached the precipice and I insist". And LOVE your sound (including vocal) and combo of instruments. Love to collab sometime if you're up for it.
