My day job is working in a biochemistry lab. The anti-science, anti-evidence, conspiracy theory situation lately in the USA is quite depressing for those of us in the profession. So here is a bit of a sarcastic screed about the current state of science, science literacy, and general trust in folks working in these areas. @jmpoet, my coworker and great friend wrote the first draft of the lyrics
