Keeping Score
Challenge: 7/4 TIME SIGNATURELiner Notes
Decided to have a crack at this week's #challenge and as it involved an #oddtimesignature off I went down the rabbit hole, because #prog . Four hours later I had an Ableton set with twenty-four tracks and an awful lot of harmony guitars (Parker Fly, Ibanez RG770, Squier Strat) as well as the Marcus Miller bass and a boat load of keyboards.
So. Much. Fun.

This sounds expansive and majestic in here on my studio monitors...the different sections really take you on a mind trip...groovy! Solid bit of modern heavy prog...digging it!
Takes up a lot of majestic space in my headphones! The chorus of singing guitars is wonderful - I love the sound of doubled (maybe even tripled guitars). I listen to a lot more prog than I used to, and you deserve a lot of credit for turning me onto Prog World.
Perfect soundtrack for some kind of psychedelic animated short film from the 90s produced by some uni students with a load of arts and crafts supplies and Gong records they borrowed from one of their mates.
love this one! every time i think i've gotten into the groove, nope, it's something different again! the section starting at about 0:59 is great, i love it. all those harmony guitars...
This is a wonderful buffet of prog deliciousness. Oh those glorious and chunky guitar riffs!
