Flag Store Man

Liner Notes
Reflecting on Independence Day in the US, I wrote this fragment (just a chorus) of a Dylanesque protest song. The song should have some poetic verses about innocence and the loss thereof, but right now this is all I have. #acousticguitar #protest #fragment
Lyrics
Hey, Mister Flag Store Man Don’t you have a flag for me A flag that I can wave around With sentimental pride? I don’t mean to complain, But all these flags are torn and stained, And every time I pick one up, It feels like something died. And every time I pick one up, It feels like something died.

Well to me you've got some nostalgic sounding tune with a prose that sounds like some messed up children's story so I say that's a good start, maybe not what you wanted to go for but I don't know that.
Please let me know if you add to this one! Yes, indeed - classic man-with-guitar protest.
