Late to this skirmish but the phrase "flowers in the sky" was so compelling. I've played guitar for a long time but never did much fingerpicking, so there are some flubs but I like how this came together. Thanks for listening!

The wistful yearning I felt like I got from the lyric is reflected in the lovely playing and vocal treatment here. Very nice — a lot to think about beyond the (at first glance) simple lyrics. Reminds me just a bit of what I love about Nick Drake.
