Lyrics
It appears on every corner Ersatz technicolor phoniness abounding Off-putting soullessness, the newest revolution Digitally-enforced aesthetic homogenizing
All our efforts fed into the theft machine Stolen from us and sold right back to us Draining our water until we’re dry Using our power until they turn off our lights They think human hands and minds will be out of date But the human spirit cannot be replaced…we will not be erased
Hear it over the speakers in the restaurant Giving once-respected news and talk shows a bump A deathless flood of regurgitated and mutilated garbage Could we have ever imagined dystopia would be so vapid and dumb?
All our efforts fed into the theft machine Stolen from us and sold right back to us Draining our water until we’re dry Using our power until they turn off our lights They think human hands and minds will be out of date But the human spirit cannot be replaced…we will not be erased

The theft machine…ain’t that the truth. Epic sounding dystopian trope. The guitar playing at the end of the song is glorious…
you have got to get this into one of the inevitable documentaries about AI's effect on the music industry. it is an anthm to the human spirit that should be plaoyed lod enough to drown out the song of the thieving robot. excellent work. heroic music
“Could we have ever imagined dystopia would be so vapid and dumb” really says it all. One of many great lines.
Beautiful sounds and production! I hear lots of sonic and musical nods in there, fun layering. Super cool tune, my friend! (And nice channeling of some Gilmour sounds at the end!)
