My first FAWM was 2022, right after I was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, I was dealing with that again last February and couldn't participate.

On the fence about participating this year. My main focus musically is running School of Rock Reno, which we opened in May of 2025, and playing in my Grateful Dead tribute band.

The songwriting I've been doing has been using Suno. I think it's pretty incredible. I can record myself singing and strumming the acoustic guitar, then use Suno to turn it into a full-scale production. It's what I've always wanted to do with a DAW. But I also understand the use of these tools is controversial, and I'm not sure if they are in the spirit of FAWM. I also have no interest in debating this online (I'll stick to one-on-one conversations).
