Hello 2026! FAWMer since 2008; she/her/Nord Electro 3/Pro Tools.
2026 will be: My first FAWM without a day job or a hustle trying to find one. My first FAWM co-habiting with another FAWMer. Also my first FAWM as Citizen and Netizen of a nuclear superpower whose federal government has been mostly-captured by techbro fascists. I will listen to every song marked #political that I have time for.
And, first FAWM since 2010 where I have album releases to promote!!
Let Me Drive The Van! All proceeds from Bandcamp track and album sales will be donated to Open Medicine Foundation: Supporting ME/CFS Research to find a cure for ME/CFS and Long COVID. Be a part of making history and help us find a cure to these life-altering illnesses. If you've enjoyed the post-punk, power-pop tunes that @toms and I have posted here over the years, check this out: it's our entire decade's worth of demos, and for a cause that's important to us both. Tracks are a dollar each, making it easy to donate any amount you like.
The Muse Ended It An Elaine DiMasi solo EP (with the help of some awesome people). Please enjoy! I figure FAWMers know how to rip a Bandcamp if they don't want to tip ;-)
AtFulcrum: Microviews This is @rickatfulcrum Rick Mealey's genius stuff, modestly labeled "prog-adjacent pop" in some marketing material or other, signed with Lux Intus Records. Find it at your accustomed streaming platforms, it's brilliant. I'd say this even if I didn't have a lyric co-write on track 6 from a 50/90 :-)
I'll hawk these a little harder in March, after I've listened to a bunch of YOU :-)
So, yeah. Retired from going for 14 in 28, but ready to rock. You?

I wish you a great FAWM, in production and listenwise. ๐
Pungenday, how appropriate. ๐ I'm gonna try, Elaine. Thought I would sit it out, but I am gonna try, dammit.

Hi Elaine! We are back for another FAWM once again. Good Luck!
So Iโm looking to expand my capabilities this time, doing some songs very loosely in the style of various artists I admire, mostly rock-ish and I notice many of them have female singers โฆ Pacifica, Deep Sea Diver, Margaret Glaspy, Soccer Mommy, and (howโs your Japanese?) Haku.. Yes they are Haku. with a dot/circle. Do you see where Iโm going with this? ๐Do any of those appeal?
I took a semester of Japanese language in grad school! Psyched to have a good reason to check out these bands! That will pass the time til Monday Sunday nicely!
Holy Coincidental Oriental Language, Batman! I will study Mayuโs drumming now as I know I can get Kanoโs bass and Nazunaโs guitar down no problem. Cheerful and fast like their De De De for example.
I should find my 2008 hit single "Forken Knife" to share with you
@elainedimasi There are tasty otsumami snacks on your email โฆ ๐
Hiya Elaine! Happy FAWMing!

Back at you Girlfriend!
I was in grad school in the late 2000's, so I know what you mean about it being a black hole!
I'm always glad to meet another STP fan. Happy FAWM!
