I don’t want to feel down today I’ll try not to watch the news There’s nothing I can do about it It all just seems so confused

I will try to be happy Thankful that I’m still here Pray for the souls of the righteous Those surviving the crisis

I don’t want to be blue So I won’t think about you I don’t want to imagine All the things you are going through

It’s hard enough to be me Sometimes it’s so hard to see What the future is hiding I can’t even describe it
