this beat got slapped together very fast...just did a couple takes on a midi controller playing some piano chords then layering up the strings etc. after a conversation i had with Q about not being able to write lyrics, i wrote this block of lyrics to which she was like, "thought you couldn't write right now"

quoth is badass, this one was a lot of fun its chill but also angry, a lot of wordplay. the mix needs work but it's fawm ready...this one really came together. love you all, glad to be back.

Q- what I actually said was more along the lines of "you are a certified baddie, and should take lead on more songs". It would be fantastic if you guys could help me convince him that I'm correct, because this song is fantastic 😁

Yeah, you're right: chill but angry. You nailed that for sure. I quite enjoyed this, even though I'm not huge on hip-hop (give or take Public Enemy, a group I still love after all these years… go figure). The lyrics are dazzling, thought provocative, & wonderfully rhythmic. Well done!

wooooowheeeee this is some lo-fi genius. Had me bobbing my head vibing the whole time, that I was sad when it ended (so I listened to it again lol). Serious such an insane start of the month for you both! Really REALLY excited to see what else #dUdB has in store this month!

Also the delivery of the line: "I'd sing in the rain if the band would just play the damn thang" itches my brain just right lol.

Outside of FAWM, I don’t listen to hip hop, but am happy when I do. Great beats, vibe and flow. You sound terrific together and the overall production is clean, clear and showcases the lyrics above everything else. Great job!

1,000 yard stare, I've sure had that from my wife on occasions! This sounds so pro, the lyrics just fall out into just the right place. Love the "ya filthy animal" line right at the end. This track, yup, it burns bright like the sun

Setting the bar VERY high here! The wordplay is so rich and inventive that it took until the second listen to hear all the lovely reverse strings and clever fx. Your voices work so well together, really lifts the refrains. And “ask the proctologist to pull your head out“ is an absolute diamond of a line 🤣
