The Procession

Liner Notes
Brushing off some cobwebs with some doom metal. I absolutely suck at writing drum parts (see: the ending), but thankfully in doom they don't need to be that complex. Writing process: melody with Black Metal Keys VST on pipe organ setting, massive drums thanks to some Valhalla reverb, guitars tuned to A.

Well, this one goes over to the funeral doom side of things. And I love it! This style carries so much atmosphere, and you captured it perfectly. If you ever happen to need some growling in this type of stuff, I'd be happy to deliver! Don't do clean vocals, though...
What a way to kick off my Monday morning! I bloody love this, as I hope you imagine I would. π You've given it everything I'd want in a piece like this. And you are quite right about the drumming. Less is always more for funereal doom π
ah yes some cathedral organ, right up my street as I play keys. I think keygen church has a lot of tracks with that in, Great track
Thanks! Will have to check keygen church out, sounds right up my alley.
Itβs quite a hopeful funeral, I feel pretty positive. A little bit post metal. And almost doomgaze. Iβd love it if you leant into that atmosphere even more.
