Venusian Wednesday

Liner Notes
This song came about from drum track no. 2 that I recorded on Jan 31st. Listening to the track pushed me into strange regions where I seldom travel. Lots of dissonance, distortion and saturation. Lyrics are a stream-of-consciousness digestion of some ufology literature I've been reading lately. The title is from a chapter in John Keel's The Mothman Prophecies.

slender salesman with a briefcase full of gadgets came by earlier asking you by name said he's eager to meet you
he had curious eyes and nervous fingers an odor that stayed and still lingers well dressed for sure but i know nothing more not his name or from where he came the accent was strange so i reckon he'd come a long long way and couldn't stay

you look like the type of guy who can operate machinery did you see the display in the sky last night?

Dude, I love your new sound! These disharmonic bits give more kind of a indie shoegaze vibe, but also that strange chords of a spy movie. Don't know how to name that.
Just the intro made me want to listen more and I was rewarded. Very nice production and an enchanting sound landscape. Suits your voice very well.
Like the scenario a lot. Title mystery matched by the wall of surf-slush sliding lovely dissonance. Really good.
